A special feature at the 5th Annual Builders St. Charles Home Show is the 3rd Annual St. Charles Sausage Festival & Wine Tasting, (Got that?) The Festival was such a huge hit with everyone for the past 2 years that it has been expanded into a bigger area for 2009!
When you arrive at the show, you’ll find the Festival near the escalators. Go there for free tastings from local sausage producers, wineries and wine distributors. Here’s a list of who’ll be wining and dining you with summer sausages, snack sticks, smoked link sausages and bratwursts, as well as specialty sausages like cheddar, apple and andouillette sausage :
- Davis Meat Processing, Jonesburg, MO, is a family owned and operated company that has been in business for 25 years. - Swiss Meat & Sausage Co., Hermann, MO, is also a family owned and operated company celebrating its 39th year in business. They offer custom and exotic slaughtering and processing as well as deer processing. They focus on curing and sausage making, poultry products and private labeling and also offer wholesale, mail order and retail sales.
- Williams Brothers Meat Co., Washington, MO, offers custom slaughtering and processing, deer processing and poultry processing. They specialize in curing and sausage making and also offer private labeling, wholesale, mail order, retail sales and catering.
