Melody is one of our St. Louis Builders Home and Garden Show bloggers, and she’ll be at the Show when it opens on Thursday, March 5, to bring you the scoop on the newest home and garden products. She’s a newlywed who’s nesting instinct just kicked in. She calls it “nesting notions” because her mental home-improvement wish list exceeds her pocketbook (we feel your pain, Melody!) To bond with other like-minded homeowners, Melody started a contest where you can win free Home Show tickets.
She’s been a blogger since 2006 (that’s a lifetime in Internet years!) and she’s a founding member of the St. Louis Blogger’s Guild. (The Guild brings together St. Louisans with a variety of passions but a united love for writing.)
Melody’s “real job” is writing and producing for ToastedRav.com, a blog about St. Louis entertainment, culture and humor. She writes 4 blog posts a day, shoots an average of 2 videos per week and also helps to produce a weekly podcast (a pre-recorded and downloadable radio show) about the site.
The topics she covers range from fashion to technology to news and often feature St. Louis personalities and businesses. As if that weren’t enough to keep her busy, Melody also keeps up a personal blog called Girls Guide to the Galaxy, where she blogs about pop-culture, entertainment and pop-politics.
