Enjoy your patio without the bugs!
We all love the beauty of the outdoors and enjoy the fresh air. Especially when the main reason we bought our home was for the lake, forest or skyline views. But evening in St. Louis, Missouri can drive us crazy and back inside because of the bugs.
Ta-da! I can fix that! With a retractable screened-in room or porch, you can enjoy being outside with out the pesky insects. Simply engage the retractable screen with an effortless touch of a button, or retract it just as easily. A power motor smoothly and silently rolls the screen away when you’re not using it and lets you enjoy your beautiful view.
This workaround is called a Phantom Screen Door, a retractable screen that acts like a shade turned on its side. It goes across your door. You then have a screen door when you need one or you can roll it up into its housing and get it out of your way when you’re done with it (like during these great spring-like reprieves we’ve been having lately this winter).
My company, Broadview Screen, will be exhibiting these retractable screens at the St. Louis Builders Home and Garden Show for the ninth time this year. At our booth you’ll find:
- Stationary or motorized Phantom Retractable Screen Products and
- Screen products for exterior doors, windows and large openings (i.e., screened-in rooms)
We’re a St. Louis, family-owned, very service-oriented business with a mission to be the most cost-effective supplier of screen products in our region. We’re also the #1 manufacturer of screen enclosures, aluminum Underdeck Drainage Systems, and the regional distributor for Phantom Retractable Screen products, Eze-Breeze Screens and your local Larson Screen Door dealer.
Every year at the home show I have at least one person ask me if they can “get glass with that?” Of course, they’re thinking about traditional storm doors. We don’t sell typical storm doors. Ours are better. =) I have to remind them “gently” that glass does not “roll up.” But there’s always one person every year who will argue with me that there MUST be a way to get the glass to roll up with the screen. EVERY YEAR.
See you at the home show! (We’ll be at Booth #1001)
