Ross Retractable Awnings by Sunesta
Everyone is looking for ways to save money these days. It’s not just a desire; it’s a necessity. Margie Ross from Ross Retractable Awnings will be exhibiting at the St. Louis Builders Home and Garden Show and will tell you one great idea to do that.
I didn’t realize all the different ways there were to install awnings to save on homeowners costs and improve the ambience of your outdoor living space. Awnings…
- Save floors and furnishings from fading
- Reduce air conditioning expenses by 25%
- Protect you from exposure to the sun and harmful UV rays which cause skin cancer
- Block excessive heat that causes heat-related illnesses.
When you put up an awning, you’ll find you get more living space you didn’t even know you had!
Margie started her awnings business as a hobby about 15 years ago, but quickly found out how hard it was to do as a sideline. She and her husband so loved their Sunesta awning over their deck that they started selling, customizing, installing and servicing their own Sunesta customers.
The Rosses found Sunesta awnings were not only the highest quality awnings on the market, but they were was also the cheapest. Margie Ross was sold, and soon after became a Sunesta distributor to offer even better pricing and service to her good customers. What started as a 6-awning per year business grew to sales of more than 100 awnings per year. Today they have more than 1,000 customers saving utility bills with their awnings! Awesome!
I asked Margie what the difference is in awnings. She said awnings are generally the same, they just have different colors and patterns. But the big difference lies in the frame and arms. Strength is key! And all of Ross awnings are built to handle whatever might come up…weight, heat, wind, and cold.
Each Sunesta awning is individually crafted to fit a customer’s exact requirements and tastes. When you buy a Sunesta awning, you have a choice of color, fit and craftmenship. Sunesta awning fabric lasts somewhere between 8-12 years. Margie is a factory-trained expert who provides a free on-site measurement, design and estimate.
Margie is a stickler for good customer service, competitive pricing (there’s that savings again!) and speed of delivery. Ross Retractable Awnings ships orders in under 5 days!
Watch for Margie under the big retractable awning at the home show…and tell her Kat sent ya!

Taking advantage of passive solar heating and cooling is a process that is being taken into account more and more when designing structures such as homes and office buildings. These simple sustainable solutions create what are being called high performance houses that work with the environment instead of against it. Awnings are a step in the right direction for green building. For more information on passive solar go to: http://tinyurl.com/aga4ue
I don’t know Sunesta awnings and I’ve never heard anything about it so I can’t say if they are good products or not. what I’m sure is that Arquati USA awnings can assure you protection from sunlight and rain, functionality and, especially, quality, that it’s so hard to find. infact, in most of the awnings in the market have beautiful color, good prices but they don’t know what quality is. they are fragile awnings, made with low quality material, with a bad-working motorized mechanism. they cost less: they last what they last. instead Arquati USA awnings are quality products, have a very nice line and they work very well. but they especially have a long time life!
Nice article . It does remind us that there are many ways to save money on your electric bill. It sounds like Margie has been able to create a great business helping others save money and enjoy the great outdoors at the same time. In my opinion there is nothing as enjoyable as sitting outside in the shade enjoying a nice day with friends and family.
